Our Client in the health care is looking to fill a position of a Scheduling Coordinator.
Job Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for answering phone calls in a professional manner, scheduling appointments, obtaining benefit/insurance information, and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in dental or health care front office, hospitality front office and or direct customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, emails
- Experience with the use of Digital Office Appointment management systems
- Promoting the practice using social media
Required skills.
- Attention to detail; able to follow and apply established office policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, to be able to work effectively with Patients, Doctors and other staff members under varying conditions
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Customer service oriented, to be able to communicate with a pleasant demeanour at all times.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
