Internship Advert 2025
Total Energies EP Uganda is looking at offering internship to university students in currently in the 2nd or 3rd year of study and would require a work placement as part of their course of study.
Internship opportunities are available in the following areas.
Selection criteria
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program from recognized National Universities
- Must provide Introduction letter from university and copy of student I.D
- Current academic scores must reflect a potential minimum of an upper second degree.
- Must provide a partial transcript / copy of academic scores to-date.
- Must be available full time for the duration of the internship period.
- Excellent verbal & numeracy skills and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Must write and submit an internship application letter.
Duration of internship: Minimum 10 weeks from June 2025
Business Development: Commercial intern; No of interns (1):
Provide support to the Business Development department in areas such as commercial market analysis and negotiations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Law, Accounting, finance, and any business-related fields.
Business Development: Joint Ventures intern Number of interns (1)
- Provide support to the Joint Ventures entity within the Business Development department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Engineering, Bachelors in Business Administration, Bachelors in Law, Project Management or related fields
Contracts and Procurement intern No of interns (1)
- Provide support to the Contracts and Procurement department.
Qualification:
- Bachelors in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or related field
Geosciences intern No of interns (2)
- Provide support to the entity handling Geospatial and Petrophysics activities within the Geosciences department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics/ Surveying/ Petroleum Geosciences/ Environmental/ Civil Engineering / Petroleum Engineering
HSSE (Health Safety Security Environment) Intern Number of interns (2)
- Provide support to the Environment entity in the HSSE department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree related to Environment, Engineering / Safety related field
Surface Facilities and Enabling Infrastructure intern Number of interns (2)
- Support the engineering, procurement and construction management of the Central Processing Facilities and Enabling Infrastructure.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ Oil and gas process /Civil Engineering
Corporate Affairs intern Number of interns (1)
- Provide support to the Corporate Affairs department in areas such as content collation, events management and stock management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s in mass communication / marketing / advertising / business administration

Graduate Trainee Advert 2025
Total Energies EP Uganda is offering Graduate Trainee opportunities to fresh university graduates with a bachelor’s degree not exceeding two years after graduation with academic scores that reflect a potential minimum of an upper second degree.
The Graduate Trainee opportunities are available in the following areas.
Social Performance Graduate trainee; No of Graduate Trainees 01 :
Provide support to the existing Social Performance team (two personnel per rotation) to execute existing social management programs including Community Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Community Capacity Building tasks such as market access and linkages to ensure sustainability of the programs and also support the team in the 2025 new programs such as Agriculture Development Program and PROUD Project.
Qualification & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agri Business, Rural Development, Economics, Project Management or equivalent relevant field.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project Management and marketing skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Maximum 2 years post-graduation experience.
Business Development: Planning & Development Graduate Trainee: Number of Graduate Trainees (01):
Provide support to the Planning & Development activities within the Business Development department.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Petroleum and Production, Finance, Economics, Electrical or any other related field.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Organized, confident and Excellent Communication Skills
- Demonstrated Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Maximum 2 years post-graduation experience
