JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Call Centre Agent to join our Debt Collection team at MOGO Uganda. This role involves engaging with customers through various communication channels, providing essential product and service information, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle inquiries from customers and staff via phone, email, SMS, and chat.
Educate current and potential customers about our products and services. - Make and receive calls as directed by the Head of Customer Care or designated supervisor.
- Accurately update communication logs for every interaction.
Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions. - Engage in sales activities to collect payments over the phone and address
- any issues in tracker functionality.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Should be not more than 25 years of age.
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- A minimum of two (2) months of experience in a call centre environment.
- Proficient in computer applications and software.
- Strong ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity, work ethic, and a proactive, positive attitude.

Telesales Agent
Department – Sales
Supervisor – Telesales Team Leader

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to introduce and promote Mogo’s financial products.
- Effectively explain product features, benefits, and terms to customers, tailoring the pitch to suit their specific needs.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and convert leads into successful sales.
- Follow up on warm leads and manage a pipeline of prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, in ERP.
- Provide exceptional service by addressing customer questions, concerns, and objections professionally.
- Build strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business for MOGO.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals and key performance indicators (KPls).
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a year’s experience in a Sales and/or customer support role
- Proficiency in customer relationship and its processes
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer literacy skills
