DATA ENTRY AND PROCESSING:
- Accurately entering financial data into accounting software.
- Processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Maintaining organized and accurate records.
BOOKKEEPING AND RECONCILIATION: - Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as updating journals and ledgers.
- Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.
FINANCIAL REPORTING: - Preparing reports and statements, such as monthly financial summaries.
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: - Providing general administrative support to the accounting department.
- Filing financial records and other important documents.
- Assisting with inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
OTHER TASKS:
- Assisting with month-end and year-end account finalization.
- Following up on outstanding invoices and payments.
- Performing collections process.
- Identifying and resolving errors in financial records.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Bcom (Accounting) or any other related field.
- At least 2 – 3 years of working experience in Accounting.
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
- Good organizational and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of computer usage.
- Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time efficiently with a professional Approach.
- The ability to overcome obstacles to solve problems to achieve results
- A personal commitment to continuous self-development.
