REPORTING TO: Marketing & Communications Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Communications Officer to join us. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of marketing tools, social media content and trends, coupled with an inquisitive nature and a responsive attitude.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement, and manage our social media strategy across MOGO
Uganda platforms. - Create engaging and high-quality content tailored to different audiences and platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
- Stay up to date with the latest marketing, communications and social media trends, tools, applications, and best practices to enhance MOGO’s digital presence.
- Monitor MOGO social media channels for customer feedback, inquiries, and comments; respond promptly to foster community engagement.
Required Job-Specific Competencies/Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing social media channels for brands or organizations.
- Strong videography and writing skills with the ability to create compelling content.
- Familiarity with communications and social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A creative and inquisitive mindset with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
