Role Overview
Java House Uganda is seeking dedicated Waitstaff to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to take and serve food and beverage orders, ensure prompt and professional service, and create an inviting dining experience in accordance with Java service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present a variety of menu options and lead suggestive selling tailored to customer preferences.
• Guide guests in navigating the menu comfortably.
• Accurately take and deliver orders to tables.
• Present bills on time and handle payments efficiently.
• Performance Indicators:
  • Greet and seat guests promptly.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and condiments.
  • Process bills and provide correct change quickly.
  • Uphold hygiene and service quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and attend shift briefings.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work under pressure and for extended periods.
• Proven skills in upselling and guest engagement.
• Strong team player with excellent customer service orientation.
• Planning and Point Of Sale (POS) skills.
• Interpersonal, flexible, and accommodating nature.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive.
• Special Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of the menu and products.
  • Minimum of an A level certificate.
  • At least six months of experience in a similar food and beverage environment or relevant skills.
