Job Description:
Stanbic Bank is hiring a Manager – Personalisation to establish and enhance personalization capabilities within the Africa Region (South, East, or West). This role involves coordinating the discovery and re-imagination of personalization in different regions and countries, working closely with in-country teams to develop and implement a client conversation portal that enables bankers to engage clients with contextually relevant insights.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Personalization Development:
    • Design, develop, and execute personalized client conversation portals in partnership with local teams, supporting meaningful client interactions.
    • Provide insights and analytics to enable client conversations for Consumer and High Net-Worth clients through direct campaigns.
  • Campaign Management:
    • Build and manage the foundational aspects of personalized campaigns, supported by appropriate analytics and principles from behavioral economics.
    • Offer data-driven insights to support business decisions, focusing on customer engagement.
  • Collaboration and Integration:
    • Engage with multiple stakeholders, including country executive teams, branch managers, and country heads, to fulfill personalization objectives.
    • Work alongside teams in Ecommerce, Client Solutions, Segments, and Marketing to integrate personalized product and solution offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
    • First Degree in Mathematical Sciences (required).
    • Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematical Sciences is an advantage.
  • Experience:
    • 3-4 years in personalization with expertise in quantitative analysis, analytics, and modeling, showing results in customer and commercial outcomes.
    • Proven experience in customer insights and analytics, translating data into actionable client conversations.
    • Experience in developing and implementing customer conversation portals.
  • Behavioral Competencies:
    • Self-confidence, strategic thinking, team collaboration, adaptability, rapport-building, and decision-making skills.
  • Technical Competencies:
    • Proficiency in risk reporting, risk response strategy, risk/reward thinking, effective verbal and written communication.
