African Clean Energy (ACE) is a B-Corp certified enterprise that produces and distributes the ACE One solar-biomass hybrid energy system. This small, smokeless stove will help eradicate the harmful effects of traditional cooking methods on health, the environment, and poverty, providing electricity as a bonus.
Job Summary:
ACE is seeking dynamic and dedicated Field Sales Agents. These agents will play a key role in the distribution, maintenance, and customer adoption of the ACE One clean cooking stove. Responsibilities include providing consumer finance options, managing customer portfolios, and ensuring a high rate of repayment. Ideal candidates should possess strategic thinking, organizational skills, and a passion for social impact.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential customers, demonstrating the ACE One stove and sustainable fuels.
- Perform stove demonstrations and gather customer information for follow-up.
- Promote the benefits of sustainable fuels and encourage adoption.
- Advise customers on eligibility for finance options and conduct KYC surveys.
- Follow up with prospects and close sales while completing accurate documentation.
- Introduce ACE Connect, educate customers on its benefits, and track usage data.
- Perform after-sales services, including training, maintenance, fuel distribution, and ensuring timely repayments.
- Monitor and address any missed payments in your customer portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Coordinator to manage all customers in the portfolio.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum UACE, Diploma, or equivalent in Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Field Sales Representative, preferably in renewable energy.
- Recommendation and residence letter from LC1 Office.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong sales track record and ability to meet targets.
- Knowledge of sales principles, methods, and techniques.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Ability to analyze market trends and implement sales strategies.
- Must be a local resident of the applied location and fluent in the local language.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
