Key Responsibilities

As a Life Insurance Unit Manager at ICEA LION Uganda, you will:

• Lead and manage a team of insurance agents, guiding them to achieve sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase life insurance business.
• Ensure team productivity and achieve key performance indicators set by the organization.
• Facilitate training and development of team members in marketing and sales skills.
• Collaborate with the bancassurance department to enhance cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance and productivity.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

To be considered for the Life Insurance Unit Manager role, applicants should have:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional Qualification: Certification in insurance or a related field is highly desirable.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in marketing and sales, ideally within insurance or financial services. Experience in team management or bancassurance is an advantage.
• Skills:
  • Strong marketing and sales abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and report writing.
  • Proven track record in management, productivity, and meeting targets.
