ICEA LION offers a broad range of services in insurance, pensions, investments, and trusts across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
As a Life Insurance Unit Manager at ICEA LION Uganda, you will:
- Lead and manage a team of insurance agents, guiding them to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase life insurance business.
- Ensure team productivity and achieve key performance indicators set by the organization.
- Facilitate training and development of team members in marketing and sales skills.
- Collaborate with the bancassurance department to enhance cross-selling opportunities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance and productivity.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
To be considered for the Life Insurance Unit Manager role, applicants should have:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional Qualification: Certification in insurance or a related field is highly desirable.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in marketing and sales, ideally within insurance or financial services. Experience in team management or bancassurance is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong marketing and sales abilities.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and report writing.
- Proven track record in management, productivity, and meeting targets.
