This smokeless, clean energy stove provides a healthier and more sustainable alternative to traditional cooking and heating methods. ACE One supports both clean energy access and electricity provision, reducing the environmental and health impacts of traditional cooking practices.
Job Summary
We are looking for passionate Field Sales Agents to help distribute, maintain, and promote the adoption of the ACE One clean cooking stove. Field Sales Agents play an essential role in extending consumer finance, monitoring customer portfolio health, and driving community impact. This role requires strong sales abilities, a customer-focused approach, and a commitment to making a positive difference in underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers for the ACE One.
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight stove benefits and sustainable fuel options.
- Explain consumer finance options and eligibility requirements, conducting KYC surveys.
- Close sales, ensuring accurate completion of all sales documentation.
- Introduce customers to ACE Connect and encourage data syncing for usage tracking.
- Provide post-sale services, including training, maintenance, fuel distribution, and ensuring regular repayments.
- Monitor consumer finance portfolio health and address any missed payments promptly.
- Collaborate with the Coordinator to support portfolio maintenance and data gathering.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Education: UACE (Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education) or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or related business field.
- Experience: Field sales experience, preferably in renewable energy.
- Requirements: Recommendation and residence letter from LC1 office.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and techniques.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop sales strategies.
- Native speaker of the local language for the preferred duty station.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
