Job Summary:
The LPG Depot Control Clerk is responsible for the receipt, storage, stock-taking, and dispatch of over 30,000 LPG cylinders each month, ensuring the seamless management of LPG inventory in the depot.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee loading and offloading of LPG cylinders and accessories within the depot.
- Coordinate with security to manage entry of LPG trucks at the bond gate and follow up on trucks in the field.
- Ensure organized storage of all filled and empty LPG cylinders and accessories.
- Reconcile LPG and accessory records with delivery notes monthly.
- Submit daily performance reports to management and stakeholders.
- Verify compliance of LPG delivery trucks with safe loading and HSEQ standards.
- Conduct quantity checks on LPG cylinders before dispatch, involving drivers and security personnel.
- Coordinate with Customer Service Centre and sales team for order follow-ups and route planning.
- Follow prescribed compensatory measures for any downgraded situations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any science-related field.
- Strong analytical skills for effective record-keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
