Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the correct concentration of treatment chemicals is added to water.
- Carry out weekly sanitation of water treatment tanks, polishers, filters, and the entire water treatment area.
- Monitor cartridge and carbon filters to ensure proper functioning.
- Conduct water analysis tests for process control (e.g., hardness, alkalinity, pH, turbidity, chlorine residual).
- Perform daily backwash of carbon filters.
- Ensure adequate supply of treated water to production lines.
- Maintain the pre-treatment chlorination facility, including routine maintenance and adjusting chemical feed rates.
- Maintain water treatment records in compliance with UNBS and ISO standards.
- Ensure plant operations adhere to SOPs and guidelines.
- Develop an effective testing protocol for the water treatment section.
- Discuss inspection results with quality assurance and recommend corrective actions.
- Document the results of various tests.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Water Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role in a busy environment.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the food industry, with beverage manufacturing being a distinct advantage.
