Job Purpose:

The Loyalty & Payment Solutions Manager will report to the Marketing Manager and manage the end-to-end implementation of loyalty programs that strengthen Vivo Energy’s market position. The role ensures the necessary resources, processes, and infrastructure strategy are in place to support the loyalty schemes and develops the capability of local teams in managing these programs.



Principal Accountabilities:

  • Implement a competitively advantaged and exciting loyalty scheme.
  • Identify internal and external resources required to complete the project.
  • Develop business cases for customer loyalty programs.
  • Ensure the right loyalty Customer Value Proposition (CVP) is presented to customers.
  • Lead procurement processes for selecting loyalty solutions and offers.
  • Negotiate contracts and coordinate financial and contractual conditions.
  • Lead the team in selecting and deploying appropriate loyalty programs and systems.
  • Prioritize business requirements and associated solutions.
  • Track business deliverables to ensure successful completion.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members for efficient task execution.
  • Translate solutions into meaningful business benefits.
  • Ensure necessary technology and infrastructure for loyalty programs.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and execute an internal communication strategy for management levels.
  • Report weekly to the Loyalty Project Committee and monthly to the Steering Committee.
  • Lead deployment, change management, and training activities.

  • Cross-Functional Integration: Ensure seamless integration of loyalty and payment solutions across departments.
  • Customer Expectations: Balance operational efficiency with customer demand for innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (Postgraduate degree such as MBA is an advantage).
  • 5+ years of experience in loyalty program management, payment solutions, or retail marketing in FMCG, telecommunications, or financial services.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional projects, especially in loyalty systems and payment technologies.
  • Strong vendor and contract management experience, including negotiation with external partners (banks, payment providers).
  • Familiarity with digital or e-commerce environments (mobile payments, digital wallets).
  • Expertise in data analytics for optimizing loyalty programs and payment performance.
  • Strong understanding of loyalty systems, CRM platforms, and payment solutions.
