DEBT RECOVERY OFFICER -WESTERN REGION
Reporting to the Debt Recovery Manager, the holder of this position will be tasked with planning and executing of recovery activities with the respective branches within his region of operations efficiently and economically and in compliance with the policy and laws of the land. The recovery officer will focus on the collection of write-offs and NPL loans on a day-to-day basis and also support in monitoring the other loans to help minimize on movement of accounts to non-performing categories.
He/she will plan and complete recovery assignments according to the agreed plan with a defined timeframe and targets, participate and contribute to the risk assessment process for target recovery areas, and document the results, to achieve the desired debt recovery objectives,
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal Candidate should possess a Business-related course from a recognized College/University and must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Credit or Debt Recovery in a microfinance or a financial institution.
Demonstrates strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and must be ready to travel 80% of the time.
Excellent in Microsoft Excel, report writing/presentation, and the ability to work with minimum supervision are also key attributes. Ability to drive a manual vehicle with a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
The candidate must be a professing and practicing Christian, whose conduct and depth of character is governed by personal Christian convictions.
