DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in developing a Monitoring and Evaluation plan
• Participate in implementing monitoring systems and designing monitoring tools Participate in developing data collection tools.
• Support in monitoring project activities, outputs and progress towards anticipated results
• Support functionality of data platforms, databases and select technologies to capture and organize data.
• Training community volunteers in data collection and reporting tools.
• Cleaning, sorting, categorizing and organizing data. Support in developing monthly, quarterly or annual reports Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.
• Perform regular database backups to secure data.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors.
• Enter data provided directly from field officers
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of UACE with mathematics or Diploma in statistics, computer science, social sciences, or a related field or a diploma in the above but with strong experience in M and E.
• Proven experience in working with MoH HMIS reports and DHIS2 Experience in ODK, and KOBO collect data capture platform.
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word,
• Excel etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware etc
• Basic understanding of databases
• Good command of English both oral and written. Great attention to detail.
