Job Summary:
The Production Manager will ensure timely production planning, maximize the use of production capacity, and effectively utilize resources to meet budget, quality, and output targets.
Reports to: AGM Production
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop production plans and ensure the efficient utilization of resources to meet budget and output targets.
- Analyze deviations in production performance, foresee potential issues, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Manage and motivate the production team, setting targets, conducting appraisals, and providing mentorship and training.
- Implement Critical Control Points (CCPs) within the HACCP system to meet certification and Organizational Health and Safety standards.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Maintain effective communication between production, warehouse, and logistics for smooth product flow.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production and maintenance failures and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in blending operations to maximize production capacity and margin gains.
- Understanding of export market requirements and customer grade variations.
- At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
