Key Responsibilities:
- Invoicing daily sales on the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) portal.
- Ensuring accurate entry of daily sales data into the URA web portal.
- Verifying that all entered data matches the daily sales figures.
- Creating data backups as part of our financial records contingency plan.
- Assisting with data reconciliation and maintaining the integrity of financial records.
- Collaborating with the finance team in reviews and meetings, offering ideas for process improvements.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Tax Controller.
Job Requirements:
- Qualification in Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
