ICEA LION Life Assurance Company Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of ICEA LION Holdings which is also the underwriter’s nearest consolidating entity. Within the ICEA LION Holdings structure, the subgroup is a core contributor (above 50%) to group revenues, assets, liabilities and profitability, which are important factors shaping the credit profile of group. Considering the materiality of the subgroup’s contribution to the group’s credit fundamentals, the analytical method followed for the purpose of determining ICEA LION Life’s rating is a group approach, with the insurer’s credit strength equalised to that of ICEA LION Holdings group.

 

Job Summary:   ICEA LION Life Assurance is seeking a dynamic Unit Manager to lead a cohort of our sales team. If you have a proven track record in driving sales and a passion for financial solutions, join us to make an impact in the insurance industry.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:   The Unit Manager will be expected to;

  • Acquaint themselves with our product offerings/services, core values, how to onboard new clients and build a team of elite sales agents.
  • Attend all company-organized trainings
  • Lead their team efficiently and effectively through holding weekly sales meetings and regular motivational talks.
  • Increase market penetration in the region and the country at large.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Field
  • At least 3 Years experience in sales
  • Certificate of Proficiency is an added advantage

Key Competencies

  • Experience in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, particularly in the insurance sector.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to drive product development and sales.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Skilled in identifying customer needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in delivering presentations and conducting meetings with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex situations.
  • Capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
