Job Summary:
The Mobile Money-Regional Coordinators will manage and oversee the Mobile Money Sales function in a specific region. This role involves leading Area Representatives, Trade Development Representatives, and other teams, ensuring the growth and dominance of MTN MoMo and MoMo Pay in the segment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Grow Mobile Money penetration and MoMo Pay in specific channels/segments.
- Manage relationships with partners to ensure MTN MoMo and MoMo Pay dominate.
- Achieve subscriber, merchant, and transaction volume and value targets.
- Implement MoMo and MoMo Pay channel plans.
- Ensure visibility of the MoMo brand and MoMo Pay in the channel.
- Provide regular reports on channel performance.
- Develop and implement business models for bulk payments, bill collection, and partnerships.
- Recruit and supervise Cash Distribution Points (CDPs).
Key Performance Areas:
- Grow Mobile Money and MoMo Pay penetration.
- Develop and manage channel plans.
- Address customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Enhance MoMo brand visibility.
- Support business model development.
- Recruit and supervise CDPs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or related field.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in sales or business development.
- Experience in FMCG, Telecom, or Mobile Money is an added advantage.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Work Hours: 8 hours per day
