Scholarship Opportunity: Fully Funded Masters Scholarships in the UK for residents of Kenya & Uganda

Windle Trust International is excited to announce that scholarship applications are now open for residents of Kenya and Uganda to pursue a Masters degree in the UK. As part of our prestigious Postgraduate Programme, these scholarships are designed to support students passionate about making a positive impact in their communities. The scholarships cover full tuition fees, a monthly maintenance stipend, and relocation costs.

About the Scholarships

These Masters scholarships are primarily funded through the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission (CSC) under its Masters and Shared Scholarships schemes. To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must submit applications to both Windle Trust International (WTI) and the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission (CSC). Meeting the requirements and deadlines for both applications is essential for success.

Key Deadlines:

  • Windle Trust International Applications: Deadline is October 15, 2024.
Your WTI application must include a copy of the completed Commonwealth Scholarships Commission application.
  • Commonwealth Scholarships Commission Applications: Deadline is October 15, 2024.

Where Can You Study?

You can pursue your Masters degree at any UK university that holds a current Memorandum of Understanding with the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission. The list of eligible universities is available here.

WTI advises students to prioritize universities that do not charge application fees. Though WTI has agreements in place for application fee waivers with some universities, this is not guaranteed for all. If you require assistance with a fee waiver, please contact postgraduate@windle.org.uk to check if support is available. However, WTI does not cover application fees under any circumstances.
