About Organisation:
Tunga Nutrition Uganda Limited is a joint venture business of Nutreco BV and Unga Group Plc. Established in March 2022, the business distributes animal nutritional products from the parent companies and is currently building a state-of-the-art animal feed and concentrate production facility at Plot M229, factory close in the Ntinda Industrial area of Kampala, that is due to start operations in Quarter 3 of 2023. The feed production facility will be tapping into local input supply chains to produce the famous Hendrix brand of concentrates and animal feed.
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital and Innovations Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts and spearhead innovative projects that will drive business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in both digital marketing and innovation within the industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive online sales and conversions. This includes SEO/SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and paid advertising.
- Innovation Leadership: Identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance our business operations, product offerings, and market competitiveness.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms to achieve business objectives.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital marketing and innovation initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and execution of digital and innovation strategies.
- Budget Management: Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve the highest ROI.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and innovation to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: Master’s degree in marketing, Business, Digital Innovation, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital marketing role, preferably within an agency or industry setting.
- Proven track record of driving successful digital marketing campaigns and innovative projects.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media management tools.
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
