Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Agency Officer of PAUL, the Head of Agency Development will lead the agency development function within the business. This role is pivotal in meeting key business metrics, including agent recruitment, new business growth, premium income, and achieving profitability targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a high-activity, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive agency development and ensure achievement of business metrics including manpower, active agents, and premium income targets.
- Develop strategies to increase new business, annualised premium equivalent (APE), and new business profit (NBP).
- Oversee agent performance to enhance productivity and persistency.
- Foster growth in the number of high-performing agents and agency millionaires.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and develop people to enhance business performance.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics to the Chief Agency Officer.
- Ensure effective execution of strategies in line with company goals.
Core Competencies Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field from a recognized university.
- Professional qualification in insurance or progress towards attainment.
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience in the insurance or financial industry.
- Proven sales experience in agency management or a related field.
- Strong skills in stakeholder relationship management and people development.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-activity, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
- Proven track record of management skills and effective execution.
