Job Summary: As a Finance Officer you will take initiative whenever necessary to ensure the implementation of a high-quality management of financial resources at the VVOB country office.
The Finance officer reports to the Operations Manager and supervised by the Accountant for the day today tasks. You are part of and work closely together with members of the operations team in your country. Furthermore, you work closely together with the other departments in your country.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and administrative support, including reporting, bookkeeping, …
- Ensure timely payments to partners and providers and review timely the cash position of our local accounts.
- Administer the budget, contract management system and inventory asset list.
- Facilitate continuous improvement, knowledge building and knowledge sharing on financial operations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance/business management or other relevant field or equivalent experience
- Experience in financial management, specifically in accounting and procurement
- Excellent computer skills in MS office and ERP or other financial systems
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
