    • Provide guidance and supervision to the ToTs in designated regions.
    • Review and approve training materials and methods used by the ToTs.
  • Advanced Training Delivery:
    • Conduct advanced training sessions on topics such as the EAC Grain Standard, Aflatoxin management, and warehousing practices.
    • Lead training on the use of alternative energy sources for post-harvest management, such as solar dryers.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Monitor the overall training process, including the performance of ToTs and the progress of trainees.
    • Prepare and submit reports on training outcomes and regional progress.
  • Liaison with External Partners:
    • Act as a point of contact between Kilimo Trust and external stakeholders, including government officials and consultants during training and sensitization campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, or a related field (Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage).
  • Practical experience or formal training in post-harvest management, quality standards (e.g., EAC Grain Standard), or food safety is highly desirable.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in training farmers, with a focus on agronomy, post-harvest management, quality control, and value chain development within the respective region.
  • Proven experience in managing or supervising training programs and providing oversight to field staff or trainers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proficiency in speaking and communicating in any of the local languages of the respective region is an added advantage.

How to Apply:
