Brooks Agrofarm Ltd was founded in 2019. The farm has a capacity of 34,000 birds We currently produce table eggs more than 12,000 eggs daily.
Job Summary: The General Manager of Human Resource and Administration is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of farm activities through effective administration and human relations. This role is crucial for enhancing productivity and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resource
Prepare and submit daily reports on staff welfare.
Develop and manage staff welfare requests and payroll.
Address staff issues, focusing on motivation and health services.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, ensuring compliance with HR policies.
Manage staff discipline during the execution of farm duties.
Administration
Oversee the general supervision of day-to-day administrative duties of the farm.
Provide logistical support to the team to enhance efficiency and execution of duties.
Monitor and ensure compliance with procedures and policies by staff in their duties.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge and experience in Human Resource management
Knowledge of Psychology and Human relations
Knowledge of Business administration
Additionally, the candidate should have basic digital skills and use of a smart phone/ digital devices is required.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Business Administration (HR option) or any other Bachelor’s degree with a short course in Psychology or Human Resource Management
Fluency in English and Luganda
Interested candidates between 23-35 years of age should apply
