Manager – Business Development MTN Uganda Limited

The Manager – Business Development will drive growth and profitability of MTN’s Home broadband services by identifying and leverage new business opportunities in the property development space, developing strategic partnerships and enhance customer satisfaction.

Reports to: Senior Manager – Home Broadband
No. of Vacancies: 1

Main Job Functions:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
• Target achievement and quotas through developing a robust pipeline and high Conversion rate.
• Develop and maintain relationship with key clients and stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring profitability and long -term customer satisfaction.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business.
• Analyze competitors and their strategies to stay competitive in the home broadband Business space.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and market expansion.

Collaborate with the product and technical team to tailor solutions and offerings in line with market demand and customer needs.
• Ensure the company’s home broadband products are competitive and meet industry standards.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the company market presence.

Education:
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT from a recognized University

Experience:
• At least 5 years’ experience in Business Development and relationship management
• Prior experience in marketing analytics for telecommunications or FMCG is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
• Industry Knowledge-Understanding of telecom and Broadband industry trends and technologies.
• Strategic thinking, ability to think and develop strategic plan to achieve growth.

• Project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
