Job Summary:   The Knowledge and Impact Lead will play a vital role in leading the organization in the learning process, development, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools, strategies, and frameworks, for accurate and timely information and decision-making. He/she will support the organization in understanding its impact, identifying areas for improvement, and communicating our successes to different stakeholders.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Provide leadership to the Knowledge & Impact team, including managing performance and leading professional development efforts
  • Collaborate with different internal teams to integrate impact measurement into program design and execution

Research & Learning

  • Lead and manage research activities and facilitate knowledge-sharing and learning across the organization and with external stakeholders to promote a culture of evidence-based programming.

Data and Quality Assurance

  • Improve the design of the available data collection tools and systems
  • Develop reporting tools that facilitate the acquisition, aggregation, and fow of information and learning within the organization.
  • Ensure data quality in aspects of monitoring and evaluation by conducting periodic quality checks.

Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy

  • Design and implement a comprehensive M&E framework aligned with organizational programs
  • Lead the routine organizational programs’ baseline, midline, end-line, and impact surveys
  • Oversee data collection, analysis, management, and visualization.

Reporting

  • Prepare and disseminate timely, high-quality monitoring and evaluation reports and presentations to organizational stakeholders.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • Ability to design and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks and tools
  • Strong technical expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques using statistical software
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences
  • Proven leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in, statistics and any relevant fields
  • A postgraduate study in Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage
  • Proven work experience of more than 3 years in impact measurement, data analysis, or a related field especially with non-profits
