Head Marketing Airtel Money Uganda

To deliver the Annual Operating Plan objectives by supporting the Airtel Money and marketing functions through developing, and executing customer/result-driven communication strategy, in line with the overall brand/business strategy.

Key Result Areas
• Developing, executing, and protecting customer brand love.
• Ensure optimum brand awareness through achieving set targets.
• Drive credible and positive take-out from all brand-related activities and communications.
• Develop and implement acquisition strategies for the various sales verticals across Retail businesses which will ensure an increase in share of customers.
• Prevent churn of existing customer base – Actively manage Churn and deliver customer retention programmes that will ensure increase in customer net additions.
• Constantly monitor all indices to ensure performance against set target while ensuring remedial action for all underperforming initiatives.
• Achieve brand recall through top-of-mind awareness and intention to purchase Targets.
• Provide brand visibility support to the Airtel Money Team.
• Prepare and seek approval of financial resources for brand communication initiatives for the department.
• Effectively direct financial resources to deliver approved brand objectives.
• Track vendor service level agreements and ensure adherence.

Driving team excellent performance and engagement.
• Any other duties that will be assigned to you from time to time.

Ideal Candidate
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related discipline.
• Must have Professional Qualifications in advertising, Marketing & Communication e.g CIM level 6 or 7 will be an added advantage.
• 8-10 years of work experience in similar industry / organization in advertising agency will be an added advantage. A minimum of 3 years in Management role.
• Experience in planning (commercial and financial) and analysis in a commercial setting.
