Job Purpose:
Growth of the loan portfolio by recruitment of new clients whilst maintaining the quality of the portfolio, carrying out marketing and assessing capacity to have access to loans. Monitoring, recovering and maintaining client relationships.
Key result Areas:
1. Business Growth
• Recruit clients in the assigned segment (Micro, Small & SME) to achieve loan loan portfolio growth and disbursement targets.
• Assessment of potential loan clients to make sure they meet the required standards for borrowing from OBUL.
• Relationship Management of existing customers
• Cross Sell Bank Products to new and existing customers of the bank
2. Monitoring and managing portfolio
• Monitor portfolio by tracking all clients, identifying any potential default cases and developing mitigants for them.
• Ensure clients comply with the OBUL policies as well as terms and conditions attached to loans.
Maintain the PAR of one’s portfolio within the bank’s PAR quality standards
3. Reporting
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports to the branch Manager and discuss weekly performance with immediate supervisor.
4.Building customer relationship
• Maintain relationships by visiting clients and solving any customer related issues raised by them
• Customer service, handling client inquiries and guiding them on how to apply for loans, use the bank’s payment channels
5. Recovery
• Recovery of defaulted loan
Requirements
• University degree preferably in Business related discipline.
• Relevant professional qualifications in microfinance, banking, finance or marketing provide added advantage.
• Relevant credit experience is an added advantage
• Must possess a Credit pass in Maths and English at ‘O’ Level
• Advanced people management and motivation skills
• Good understanding of Credit risk management.
• Good understanding of sales management and customer service
