Diocese of Madi – West Nile is recruiting competent candidates, preferably Anglicans and born-again with a clear testimony, to fill the positions in its Child Development Centre at Emmanuel Church of Uganda, Tabi, Ginyako Parish, Koboko Archdeaconry, Koboko District.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality and timely correspondence between child and sponsor.
- Keep office and children development records and facilitate the spiritual growth of the children.
- Be responsible for child development programming and home visits.
- Monitor and track children’s attendance.
- Ensure timely update of children’s information and documents.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Age between 23-40 years.
- Mature and practicing Christian with good Bible knowledge.
- Good interpersonal and relational skills.
- At least two years of experience in community-related work, especially dealing with children.
- A minimum of a degree in Social Works and Social Administration, Education, Nursing, Development Studies, Community Psychology, Child Ministries, or other related fields for Project Directors, and a minimum of a Diploma for Child Development Officers.
- Computer literacy and knowledge is an added advantage.
- Speaking and understanding the Madi language shall be an added advantage.
