Job Description:
The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the operations of the food and beverage department, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, developing and implementing strategies to maximize profitability, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The Manager will also collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and contribute to the hotel’s overall success.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Oversee and manage the food and beverage staff, ensuring effective training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained, addressing customer complaints and feedback promptly.
  • Operational Management: Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hygiene practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and meet financial targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise in the food and beverage department.
  • Teamwork: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage management or a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with staff and customers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to meet financial targets and manage budgets.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
