Job Summary: The Telehandler Operator is responsible for operating telehandlers to move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and construction sites.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate telehandlers to move materials.
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies from trucks or other vehicles.
- Transport materials to designated areas using forks, booms, or other attachments.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on the telehandler.
- Ensure the telehandler is kept clean and in good working condition.
- Follow site safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Communicate with site supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks.
- Identify and report any operational issues or hazards to the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating Telehandler machines
- Valid Operators License for Heavy machinery
- Proficiency in operating telehandlers and understanding their attachments.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members.
- Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
