Job Description: C-Care Uganda is seeking a dedicated Internal Control Manager to provide comprehensive financial, compliance, and operational reviews. Reporting to the CFO, this role will offer business advisory and consultation services to enhance existing processes and ensure adherence to organizational policies.

Reports To: CFO
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial, compliance, and operational reviews to offer business advisory services.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to improve processes and maintain excellent controls.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on business processes and controls, assessing and managing risks.
- Promote a culture of transparency and risk awareness across the organization.
- Evaluate and enhance accounting, financial, and operational policies to mitigate risks.
- Implement and maintain necessary controls and train teams on protocols and compliance.
- Perform impromptu checks to evaluate internal controls effectiveness.
- Communicate regularly with leadership on potential risks and compliance issues.
Requirements:
- Business degree or relevant field required.
- Fully qualified (CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or in advanced stages of completion.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in healthcare, retail, or manufacturing.
- Strong business acumen and financial prudence.
- Knowledge of financial and operational processes and controls.
- Ability to multitask effectively and work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with a Big 4 firm is advantageous.
