We’re a dynamic Fintech company looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll play a vital role in testing and ensuring the quality of our cutting-edge financial web applications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify and test functionalities of our web applications.
- Execute a variety of test cases, including functional, regression, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and defects clearly and concisely.
- Participate in code reviews from a QA perspective, focusing on user experience and functionality.
- Learn and apply QA methodologies and best practices to ensure thorough testing.
- Assist with maintaining and improving our test automation processes.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and tools in the QA and Fintech space.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) with a focus on QA processes.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Desired:
- Experience with testing web applications.
- Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Understanding of accessibility testing principles.
- Experience in a Fintech environment.
