Shift Supervisor BondRich Advisory Group Ltd

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following duties
• Supervise Production: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that soap manufacturing processes are executed according to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
• Schedule Management: Coordinate shift schedules, assign tasks, and monitor employee attendance to ensure adequate staffing levels and smooth workflow throughout the shift.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of product quality by conducting regular inspections, addressing any issues or deviations from quality standards, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety meetings, provide training on safety practices, and address any safety concerns promptly.
• Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with the maintenance department to schedule and perform routine maintenance on production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

Inventory Management: Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels, coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment, and minimize waste through efficient inventory management practices.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality control documents, and inventory logs. Generate reports on production metrics, performance KPIs, and any incidents or issues encountered during the shift.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains. Implement best practices and initiatives to optimize production processes and enhance overall operational performance.
• Communication: Serve as a liaison between production staff and management, communicating shift updates, performance metrics, and any issues or concerns that may arise during the production process.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Diploma in Chemical engineering with relevant experience will be considered
• Previous experience, preferably in Soap manufacturing or related industry.
