The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests, providing them with outstanding service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
• Check-in and check-out guests efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Answer and direct phone calls, handle inquiries, and provide information about the hotel, available services, and local attractions.
• Manage reservations, including cancellations and modifications.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Bachelors Degree, Diploma or equivalent in a business related field. Additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role within the hotel industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
