Beverage Team Leader Hariss International Limited

The Beverage Team Leader is responsible for whole plant production activity. The goal is to ensure that the production process delivers products of maximum quality in a profitable manner. That way our business can augment customer satisfaction and achieve sustainable growth

Reports to: Shift Controller
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Control and coordinate between all the department like CSD lines, Plastic, Mixing, and Sugar dissolving.
• Maintain discipline and act to maintain it.
• Supervise workers and ensures all workers work under limit.
• Coordinates between production and maintenance department.
• Achieves production targets by communicating job expectations; monitoring, and appraising job results; disciplining employees, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining quality staffing levels by participating in selection, orientation, training of employees; and development of personal growth opportunities.
• Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Completes production plan by assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensures smooth operation of equipment by calling for repairs from the maintenance department.
• Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests

Controls systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, and forms of control.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
• Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; and recommending action.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.

Key Requirements:
• At least 2-3 years hands-on in the Food Industry. Beverage manufacturing plant is a distinct advantage.
• Familiar with Carbonated Soft Drinks and/or water treatment plant.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
