Overview:

CNOOC Enertech International (U) Limited supports Uganda’s oil and gas industry by offering specialized services to upstream companies, including exploration, drilling engineering, well evaluation, downhole interventions, and construction for petroleum projects.

Primary Functions:

The Workshop Coordinator is responsible for managing and supervising the operation of the ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) program production workshop for oil and gas activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans, arrange production tasks, supervise production processes, and ensure that production tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Direct and manage workshop employees, including training, performance evaluation, and team building, to ensure employee efficiency and a proper working environment.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure the safety of the workshop production environment and prevent accidents.
  • Ensure all equipment and downhole tools are in good condition with valid certificates and proper maintenance records.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the ESP project manager and company representatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 6 years of experience in ESP program services in the oil and gas sector.

Required Knowledge:

  • H2S protection training certificate for petroleum site operations.
  • Safety & survival certificate for petroleum site operations or other similar certificates.
  • CNOOC well control certificate.
  • Over 7 years of experience in ESP project services.
  • Proficient in professional English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability in production planning, process optimization, and efficiency improvement to ensure timely completion of production tasks.
  • Good communication and coordination skills to effectively communicate and coordinate with different departments.
