Job Summary: This role spearheads the Trade Finance segment’s growth by attracting new clients, retaining existing ones, and developing innovative products. The aim is to grow the Bank’s Trade Finance segment business and develop strategies for client retention, growth of New to Bank Trade customers, development of products and services in the trade finance portfolio, and ensure portfolio quality in line with the set targets and the Bank policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the Trade Finance segment.
- Attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Develop innovative products and services within the Trade Finance portfolio.
- Ensure portfolio quality aligns with set targets and bank policies.
- Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee the operational risk management related to Trade Finance.
- Analyze product economics and pricing.
- Collaborate with the credit function and perform risk analysis.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from an accredited institution. An MBA or Post Graduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Experience: At least 8 years in a relationship management role, preferably in banking/financial institutions or a commercial environment, with at least 4 years in Trade Finance at a managerial level.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of product implementation and operational risk management.
- Thorough understanding of product economics and pricing.
- General understanding of credit functions and excellent operational risk analysis skills.
Work Hours: 8 hours per day
Experience in Months: 96 months (8 years)
Level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree
