Job Description:
- Job Purpose:
- Provide practical support and assistance to production teams.
- Plan and produce TV programmes that educate, inform, entertain, and earn revenue for Africa Broadcasting (U) Limited.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with research of programme content for assigned shows.
- Create show scripts for internal/external broadcasts and for clients.
- Assist in the organization and supervision of location shoots.
- Create schedules, shot lists, and call sheets for shoots.
- Organize the logistical requirements of shoots.
- Coordinate the presentations of show hosts during live broadcasts.
- Assist in the production of talk shows by supporting the directors, graphics team, and other technical crews.
Qualifications:
- Academic:
- University Degree in Mass Communication or any related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional:
- Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of production experience, with emphasis on television production.
Core Competencies:
- Ability to work accurately and under pressure.
- Deadline-driven.
- Computer literate.
- Good eye for detail.
- Ability to deal effectively with simultaneous tasks.
- Unique skill set in managing digital media television production workflow system.
