ONFR Category Manager Vivo Energy Uganda

The ONFR Category Manager is responsible for driving the development and implementation of new Other Non-Fuel Retailing (ONFR) initiatives, managing the entire lifecycle of these projects, and fostering strategic relationships to deliver a compelling value proposition to customers, ultimately driving business revenue growth and expanding Vivo Energy Uganda’s retail footprint.

Key Responsibilities
As the ONFR Category Manager at Vivo Energy Uganda, you will be responsible for:
• Forging strategic partnerships to drive ONFR business growth through identification, negotiation, and formation of alliances that yield mutually beneficial results.

Developing and executing a robust portfolio of ONFR initiatives that align with the group’s Convenience Retail strategic framework, ensuring sustained revenue growth and market share expansion.

Optimizing the Retail network by curating a converged offering of complementary motorist products and services that meet the evolving needs of customers, delivering convenience, innovation, and value.
• Collaborating closely with the Marketing team to design and execute tactical marketing plans and campaigns that drive customer engagement, loyalty, and ONFR business growth.
• Managing partnership contracts, ensuring adherence to agreement terms and conditions, and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Compiling and presenting data-driven insights and results analysis to inform site optimization strategies and business decisions.

Requirements
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field. from a reputable university. Post graduate qualification in sales and marketing will be of added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business development/marketing within the retail or consumer goods industry.
• Knowledge and understanding of market analysis, customer insights, and sales strategy development.
• Experience in overseeing marketing strategies and campaigns that promote retail products and services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to drive decision-making.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain partnerships.
• Leadership capabilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving collaboration.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
