About MSC:
The Microfinance Support Centre Limited (MSC), established in 2001, is committed to promoting access to affordable financial services to foster employment and wealth. Through its network of 13 regional offices and over 160 Agency SACCOs, MSC prioritizes financing enterprises in the agricultural value chain, including production, value addition, and marketing. MSC also offers capacity-building services to its clients, including SACCOs, groups, and cooperative unions, to ensure sustainable development.
MSC is currently undergoing a corporate renewal process and seeks suitably qualified, skilled individuals with integrity and a strong passion for creating wealth and positively impacting the lives of active poor Ugandans. The following full-time positions are available:
1. Monitoring and Evaluation Manager (Level 3)
- Vacancies: 1
- Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework.
- Design and implement M&E systems.
- Track project performance and provide insights for strategic planning.
- Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in M&E within the financial services or development sector.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in M&E software and tools.
2. Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Level 4)
- Vacancies: 1
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of M&E plans.
- Collect and analyze data.
- Prepare reports and ensure compliance with M&E standards.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in M&E.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with data collection and analysis tools.
3. Senior Risk and Compliance Officer (Level 4)
- Vacancies: 1
- Responsibilities:
- Manage risk assessments.
- Develop compliance strategies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure adherence to legal and internal policies.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in risk management and compliance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Senior Public Relations Officer (Level 4)
- Vacancies: 1
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute public relations strategies.
- Manage media relations.
- Handle communications with stakeholders.
- Enhance the company’s public image.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in public relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relations and networking abilities.
