Core Banking Systems Analyst Centenary Bank

Perform systems administration on all Data Centre Systems in line with ICT policies and guidelines

Key Result Areas:
• Run daily maintenance and EOD/EOM/EOY activities for the core banking, loan origination and treasury systems as per checklists.
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly system related reports
• Maintains Core Banking systems performance and availability through proactive capacity and availability monitoring and analysis/resolution/escalation of any identified issues or bottlenecks
• Analysis and resolution of system related issues which have been raised by users or proactively identified through monitoring and batch processing.
• Escalate to product vendor where bugs are identified or system enhancements are required and follow up to resolution while providing work arounds where necessary
• Disaster recover, Backups and restoration for core banking related systems
• Owning all core Banking calls assigned in the service desk system to carry out problem investigation, analysis and resolution with escalations to the relevant vendors or team where required
• Documentation of procedures, functionalities, architecture, settings and Modifications/customisations done to the Core Banking system for continuity.
• Review of new business requests for design and development and coordination of the testing and deployment of the same in production upon business confirmation
• Schedule, plan and coordinate the installation and testing of new products, system upgrades and patches to the core banking systems
• Support Core Banking integration with other banking products

Education and Professional Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or an Engineering
• Proficient in SQL and Linux

Required Experience and Competences:
• 2 years’ experience in administration of core banking or digital payment applications
