Job Title: Senior HR Officer
Organisation: Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services for people with disability in Uganda (CoRSU)
Duty Station: Kisubi, Wakiso, Uganda
Reports to: Head of HR and Administration
About Organisation:
Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services for people with disability in Uganda (CoRSU) was established in 2006 as a private non-profit, nongovernmental organization and is supported by CBM (Christian Blind Mission). CoRSU provides Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Rehabilitation, mainly for children as well as adults with disability.
Job Summary: The Senior HR Officer will provide support in the management of the various human resource functions and activities including recruitment. staff capacity development, staff motivation and retention initiatives, as well as all other Human Resource Management functional requirements within the Hospital.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Up to date HR information system (documentation) maintained on all staff (the employees & non-employees) personnel records regarding (biodata updates. salary, leave and others).
- Support implementation and review of organisational HR policies, processes, and procedures.
- Coordinate implementation of staff welfare and health services.
- HR function and performance records ensured including training and reporting.
- HR Officers supervised, coordinated, guided. and evaluated.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management with a focus on Business Administration.
- A postgraduate Diploma in HAM from a recognised training institution.
Experience:
- 3 years’ post-graduate qualification experience in a reputable organization.
