We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to help us build and grow our brand in Uganda. You’ll work across various levels and departments to discover what makes us unique and communicate it effectively.
If you’re creative, strategic, and have experience in B2C mobile app marketing, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll help us kickstart our market entry, build the brand, and eventually grow the local team.
Responsibilities
• Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
• Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
• Manage localized marketing efforts and initiatives
Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
• Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, assess ROI and KPIs
• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
• Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
• Devise innovative growth strategies
• Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics
Requirements and Skills
• Proven working experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, ideally with experience in both agency and corporate/startup environments
• At least 3-5 years of experience in B2C mobile app marketing
• Proven experience in content creation, creative strategy, and implementation
• Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
• Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
• Strong analytical skills paired with a creative mind
• Experience working with global / Fintech / startup companies – an advantage
• Degree in marketing or a related field
