Data Administrator Credit Info Uganda

The Data Administrator is responsible for:
• Ensuring that all Pl, and all stake holders make timely data submission to Creditinfo.
• Ensure the collected data is of quality as per BOU’s regulations.

Accountability:
• Attends meetings with Pls to discuss data quality.
• Manages receipt and formatting of data from Pi’s for validation.
• Data submission testing.
• Ensures loading of data to staging servers e.g. the warehouse, and ensures that all successfully validated data is loaded to production within established timelines.
• Liaisons with Pl’s and stakeholders to supply data to Creditinfo.
• Liaison with Bank of Uganda in regard to all monthly reporting.
• Assist in preparation and verification of data extracts for billing purposes.
• Load validation reports produced on time.
• BOU reports produced accurately and on time.

Required Experience / Qualification
• At least 2 years’ experience in a credit bureau or similar data driven business with a self-starter interest in data structures preferable with a banking and financial background.
• Degree or appropriate similar relevant qualifications in subject matter expertise is preferable.

Required Skills
• Strong SOL Skills.
• Professional and Hard working.
• Ability to easily deal with people at all seniority in a telephonic and face to face environment.
• Very adept in Excel or open office.
• Ability to rapidly assimilate and interpret information covering a wide range of diverse business areas and the associated risks/regulations.
