Excel – Terrain Consortium invites applications from suitably qualified persons for its construction activities under the EPSCC Scope on the Tilenga Project. Reporting to the Project Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for:
• Ensuring all construction works are executed and delivered in accordance with the Client’s quality requirements and the approved Quality Management Plan:
Leading dedicated site quality team including lower- level quality managers, inspectors, technicians, and a laboratory team:
• Responsible for and maintaining all QA/QC documentation including ITPs, QCPs, QMPs, Method Statements and the like:
Coordinate supplier and subcontractor quality surveillance routines to ensure procured materials and labour comply with project requirements:
• Undertake all QAQC submissions and tasks in accordance with the approved programme of works;
• Inspect completed work and/or work in progress, and the associated quality documentation, to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements:
• Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements, identifying and resolving non-conformances:
• Setting targets, and assessing performance for the QA/ QC team:
• Ability to carry out Quality Management Systems (QMS) audits regularly and submit the findings along with proposed solution/s to rectify any shortcomings to the PM and the Company’s management
• Compiling and submitting QA/QC site records and reports, in accordance with the client’s requirements;
• Possess demonstrated interface management skills, and attendance of relevant site and client meetings.;
• Work in conformity with all established HSE Policies and standards
Applicants must possess
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, construction management, or other relevant degree with Minimum of seven years of professional quality control / quality assurance experience in the construction sector.
• At least 7 years experience in large international CIVIL contract projects in the oil and gas sector.
