Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Commerce Finance and Accounting option), Business Administration (Finance and Accounting option) or equivalent.
• Ability to use financial and accounting software applications.
Ability to undertake critical analysis of budget processes, expenditure control, budget performance and problems on finance and accounting
• Ability to prepare accurate and quality financial reports according to prescribed reporting formats. Flexibility in working schedules including travel at short notice.
Position Objective (Summary of placement in the function and broad responsibilities)
• The Finance Administrator shall be based at the Implementing University.
• He/she will be responsible for financial, accounting, reporting and overall compliance with established TAGDev program financial management procedures and guidelines
Responsibilities:
• Support financial administration and accounts of the program at the University. Ensure compliance with management guidelines.

• Prepare all requisite reconciliations and provide timely financial returns to the RUFORUM Secretariat.
Output
• Periodic reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Proportion of funds accurately accounted for and cleared by RUFORUM Secretariat.
• Timely disbursement of funds to students and research teams.
