Duties and Responsibilities;
• Review and implement communication and PR strategies and budgets.
• Support the development of new communication products, including corporate brochures, banners, facility branding, and asset branding.
• Manage and coordinate STFCHS events calendar and oversee the planning, coordination, and logistics of functions.
• Lead the design, review, update, and maintenance of the STFHCS website ensuring regular updates and supervision of the development of an interactive website & and web content.
• Design online presence campaigns including social media content development, internal media, and communications-related training.
• Ensure timely production of STFHCS publications i.e. newsletters, blogs, annual reports, IEC materials, brochures, client success stories, etc.
• Lead the media liaison including; coverage with relevant broadcasting and print media, development of press releases, organizing press conferences, and support in managing negative publicity.
• Ensure adequate branding at STFHCS functions and proper usage of corporate identity both within and outside of STFHCS.
Organize the design, compiling, editing, and timely publishing of STFHCS newsletters, reports, factsheets, other publications and manage the organization photo bank/all PR equipment in your custody.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Mass communication or any other relevant discipline;
• Diploma in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role is acceptable;
• 5 years in a similar position in a private company or larger NGO
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills – News article and blog writing plus organization social media management experience is an added advantage.
• Computer, interpersonal and communication and Public Relations skills
