Job Summary:

Perfection Church and Ministry (PCM) is seeking a dedicated Project Director to lead one of its Child Development Centers. The Project Director will serve as an advocate for children and caregivers living in poverty, ensuring effective implementation of the program and maintaining accountability to both the church leadership and Compassion International.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advocate for children and caregivers living in poverty who are unable to speak out for themselves.
• Direct the day-to-day activities of the project for effective program implementation.
• Implement partnership agreement standards as the lead technical staff within the partnership.
• Maintain financial records, including cashbooks, voucher registers, and project financial statements.
• Prepare and submit reports to church leadership and Compassion International for program monitoring and evaluation.
• Mobilize resources to provide learning opportunities for children and prevent dependency syndrome.
• Perform other duties as assigned by project leadership or Compassion office.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Must be a Christian willing to actively minister in the local church where posted.
• Possess interpersonal skills, team-building skills, and initiative.
• Customer service orientation with adaptability to different environments.
• Ability to apply established accounting procedures to various transactions and situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with intermediate English ability preferred.
• Knowledge in project planning, management, and proposal writing is advantageous.
• Formal training in counseling and child development is a plus.
• Previous supervisory experience is highly desired.
• Age: 25 years and above.

Academic Qualifications:

• Minimum of a degree in Development Studies, Social Work and Social Administration, Education, Child Development and Children’s Ministry, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Community Psychology, or related field.
